A road in Paisley has reopened after a 'disturbance involving a chainsaw'.
We reported that a collision took place between a car and a parked police vehicle on Glasgow Road at around 1pm on Monday.
An officer was then allegedly chased with the weapon.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested and two officers were injured and treated by paramedics.
The road was closed for around six hours as officers carried out investigations and the public was assured that there was no threat.
Now the force has revealed that the area has fully reopened.
They thanked people for their patience while the closure was in place.
