A young girl has been rushed to hospital after being attacked on a busy Glasgow street.
The incident took place on Balmore Road in the city's North shortly after 6.30pm on Tuesday, May 7.
Police say they were called to reports of an assault in the area.

999 crews rushed to the scene.
Following that, a 13-year-old girl was taken to hospital.
An investigation into the incident is underway.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 6.45pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 officers were called to reports of an assault at Balmore Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and a 13-year-old girl was taken to hospital as a preauction.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service added: “We received a call at 6.41pm on Tuesday to attend an incident on Balmore Road in Glasgow.
"We dispatched one ambulance and a critical care paramedic to the scene. We transported one female teenage patient to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
