A man is due in court after being found with a 'knife and hammer'.
Local officers pulled over a vehicle on Glassford Road in Strathaven on Tuesday, May 7.
The force says they found the driver in possession of drugs, a knife and hammer.
He was arrested in connection with the alleged discovery and he is expected in court at a later date.
A spokesperson for the force said: "On Tuesday May 7, local officers stopped a vehicle on Glassford Road, Strathaven.
"The driver was found in possession of drugs, a knife and a hammer He was arrested and will appear at court at a later date Great work by officers, removing weapons and drugs from our streets."
