A multi-vehicle crash on the M74 motorway in Glasgow sparked a 999 response last night.
Police say the incident took place on the southbound carriageway of the road between Junction 1 and Junction 1A shortly after 6.50pm on Wednesday, May 8.
During the smash, the road was closed while emergency crews dealt with the situation.

It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash or how many vehicles were involved.
However, Traffic Scotland said the road reopened shortly after 9.15pm.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
The M74 is closed southbound between Junction 1 and Junction 1a due to a crash which happened around 6.55pm.
