A teenager has been arrested following reports of 'frauds' across Greater Glasgow.
Officers say the alleged frauds took place in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire, and East Dunbartonshire.
The force says they happened between April and May this year.
Now, an 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court yesterday (Thursday, May 9).
Sergeant John Robertson said: “We encourage members of the public to be mindful of activity which appears fraudulent and to report this to police.
“Officers will continue to work to bring those responsible for this kind of criminality to justice and anyone with concerns should call us on 101.”
