Police have confirmed they are investigating items being thrown at Rangers captain James Tavernier.
The skipper was the target of missiles thrown onto the pitch as he went to take a corner during yesterday's Celtic v Rangers fixture at Parkhead.
Tavernier was seen picking up the items and bringing them to the attention of referee Willie Collum.
The force revealed that they had been made aware of the incident and that they had launched enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are aware of items thrown during the match at Parkhead on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Enquiries into the matter are ongoing.”
