Two people are due in court after a man was allegedly attacked in Glasgow.
Officers were called to a premises on Broomfield Road in Barmulloch in the north of Glasgow on Saturday afternoon.
They responded to a report of a disturbance and an alleged assault.
A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The force has arrested and charged a 24-year-old man and 38-year-old woman in connection with multiple offences.
They are expected in court tomorrow.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Saturday, 11 May, 2024, police were called to a premises on Broomfield Road, Glasgow, following a report of a disturbance and the serious assault of a 29-year-old man.
“The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 24-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with a number of offences. They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 13 May, 2024.”
