A suspect is being hunted after a man was savagely attacked in a pub.
The 62-year-old victim was in the Bracken pub in Bridgewater shopping centre in Erskine on Saturday, May 11 when he was assaulted at around 5.55pm.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital to be treated for his injuries, and he was later released.
Efforts are being made to find the assailant who is described as white, aged between 35 and 45, of medium build with black hair.
He was wearing a black polo shirt with white trim, black jeans, black glasses and white trainers.
The force is also urging anyone who has information on the attack to contact them.
Detective Constable James Campbell said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge any witnesses who haven’t yet spoken to police, or anyone with information to contact us. I would also ask anyone with any personal footage to please get in touch.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 2952 of May 11. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
