A man has been left seriously injured after a brutal 'unprovoked attack' in Clydebank.
The incident took place on Faifley Road in the town at around 7.55pm on Saturday, May 11.
During the ordeal, a 46-year-old man was assaulted by another man.

Now, police have launched a search for the culprit.
He is described as wearing dark clothing with his hood up and face covered.
As part of their investigation into the attack, cops are appealing for anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
Detective Constable Rachael Mersey said: “This was an unprovoked attack which has left a man seriously injured and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to identify and trace those responsible.
“We are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or thinks they may have seen the suspect in the area to contact us.
"We would also be keen to view any private CCTV or doorbell footage from the area on Saturday evening.
