UPDATE: Glasgow City Council has said the A739 Balshagray Avenue has now re-opened. However, southbound traffic has been reduced to one lane to accommodate emergency vehicles.
Part of a busy Glasgow road has been closed due to an emergency incident.
Glasgow City Council has said the A739 Balshagray Avenue in the city's West End is currently shut to all northbound traffic at its junction with Victoria Park Drive North due to a vehicle smash.
The road has been closed near the entrance to the Clyde Tunnel.

It is unclear how many vehicles have been involved in the crash or if anyone has been injured.
The local authority says road users using the northbound A739 Clyde Tunnel and the westbound A814 Clydeside Expressway should expect lengthy delays.
Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
