Caution is advised as 68 sets of traffic lights in Glasgow are not functioning due to a power spike.
Glasgow City Council has warned read users this morning just after 8am to take extra care at junctions as the signals are dark after an issue at 3.19am this morning.
The faulty lights are sprinkled across the city and will require engineers to individually attend and fix the problem.

A spokesperson said: "Due to a power spike at 03.19am this morning a minimum 68 sets of traffic signals are currently all dark.
"Due to the number of signals involved and that they are spread across the city it will take time for each site to be attended and brought back onto normal operation.
"Road users should exercise caution approaching affected signals in the interim."
