A body was found in search of a woman who went missing from Rutherglen.
Michelle Conroy, 57, from Rutherglen, went missing at the weekend and "extensive" searches were underway to locate her.
Today, Police Scotland has confirmed that this morning around 11am, a body was found in the Bute Terrace area of the town and her family has been notified.
Formal identification is yet to take place.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
