New dog 'adventure playground' to open in Bishopbriggs

Unleash The Dogs is opening a brand-new site in Bishopbriggs - which is set to bring even more 'enclosed playgrounds for dogs and owners' to the area.

The new facility is located alongside the Forth & Clyde canal and is just a few minutes drive from Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, and Bearsden.

It will open on Saturday, May 25, and will be the sixth field opened by the company.

The new venue joins the firm's 'award-winning' locations at Uddingston, Carmunnock, and Hillington.

On top of the new site, Unleash The Dogs have revealed they have also been working to expand their Hillington venue.

The facility opened a new field last week - which is almost two acres in size.

Coming from a farming background, Craig and his partner Lauren are 'on a mission to create the very best place for dogs' to visit in Glasgow.

Craig said: “It’s a huge milestone for us to be able to open the Bishopbriggs site.

"Unleash The Dogs now has accessible locations covering the North, South, East & West of the city, meaning Glasgow residents can access any park by car in less than 15 minutes.

"We have kept the bar incredibly high with the design and build of our latest fields. Our team are constantly challenging themselves to improve our offering in every aspect.

"We have learned so much from our existing sites and we believe that these new fields are at the very top of their game.

“We hope these new additions will be just as popular as the other sites across the city and we are incredibly excited to continue this journey of growth.”

As part of it, one of our reporters tried out the park with a hyper puppy, a lazy English Bulldog, and two Yorkies.
