A man kicked off at a Glasgow city centre pub after being told to leave.
David Williams, 45, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week after he pleaded guilty to assaulting two people, refusing to leave and acting aggressively.
He was at Speakeasy on John Street around 10.30pm on October 21, 2023.
He was drunk, arguing with people and challenging them to a fight.
Doorstaff were notified and approached him as he was shouting at a group.
The employees asked him to leave several times but Williams refused.
He tried to grab one of the staff members but they took control.
The Royston resident kept shouting, swearing and told the workers: “What the f**k are they going to do about it?”.
He was removed from the premises as he continued to be aggressive.
Williams walked up to one staff member with outstretched arms and told him: “I will batter you, what the f**k are you going to do about it?”.
He was asked to stop and he called 999 to report being assaulted.
During this time, he began to shout racial remarks towards a witness using the term “p**i”.
This was heard by the phone operator who recorded it.
Police officers arrived and moved Williams away. He was arrested, cautioned and charged.
He did not confirm whether he understood and told cops to “f**k off”.
He was taken to Cathcart police station and held in custody.

Sheriff Mark McGuire said: "The report is in stark contrast with what I heard today."
Williams' lawyer replied: "There were some significant things haunting him at the time, including the loss of his employment, which affected him badly."
The sheriff said: "He was out of trouble since 2018."
The lawyer added: "I understand the stress of his job caused him to relapse, to resort to alcohol. A significant period of abstinence helped him to apply a positive mental health mindset."
Sheriff McGuire addressed Williams: "Your conduct was disgraceful."
He was sentenced to 150 hours of unpaid work.
