A Glasgow primary school has cancelled its end-of-term trips due to 'disgusting' vandalism.

Mindless vandals allegedly targeted St Francis Primary's bus over the bank holiday weekend - smashing its windows.

The school - which is based in the Gorbals - said they have been left 'absolutely horrified and disgusted' following the situation.

In a post shared on social media, the school has also revealed they have now had to cancel their 'end of term adventures' for its pupils.

Pictures posted revealed the bus windows had been smashed in.

Glasgow Times:

The school said: "We are absolutely horrified and disgusted that our brand new minibus has been vandalised over the holiday weekend.

"Two weeks planning end-of-term adventures for our children which will now have to be cancelled."

She said: "This is so disappointing for pupils and the learning community.

"This mindless destruction is unacceptable.
