UPDATE: The dog has been reunited with its owner.
Cops are hunting for the owner of a missing dog.
Officers say the wee pooch was found in the Hillhead Area of Kirkintilloch on Wednesday, May 29.
Following that, it was handed into the town's local police station.
Now, the force is urging anyone with information on the dog or its owner to come forward.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland East Dunbartonshire said: "Found dog.
"This afternoon a little dog was found in the Hillhead Area of Kirkintilloch (Wednesday, May 29) and has been handed into Kirkintilloch Police Officer.
"If you have any information or if you are the owner of the dog please contact 101."
