A child was hospitalised after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
999 crew were alerted to the collision just before 6pm yesterday to Ardencraig Road, Castlemilk.
The girl was taken to hospital and the 29-year-old driver was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 20.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.55pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024, police received a report of a crash involving a car and a child pedestrian. The girl was taken to hospital for assessment.
“The 29-year-old male driver was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 20 August, 2024. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
