A Glasgow bar will close at the end of the month after three years of business.

New York-inspired 63rd+1st will shut the doors of its Bothwell Street venue after a drop in footfall.

The bar opened in September 2021 and it was a project by TGI Fridays owner Hostmore, who said its sales have waned this year.

This closure in Glasgow follows three other venues in Cobham, Harrogate and Edinburgh being shut down.

The brand was launched in 2021 and took inspiration from TGI Fridays with a New York-influenced food and cocktails menu.

Hostmore, which has 85 TGI Fridays venues in the UK, said getting rid of the brand would boost its earnings in the future.
