A man who died following a road crash in Cumbernauld has been named as a Scottish boxer.
Andrew Tham, 28, sadly lost his life following a collision involving a Kawasaki motorcycle and a Hyundai Tucson car on Thursday, May 30.
The incident occurred around 6.50pm on the B8039, near to Lenziemill Road.
Andrew was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died on Sunday.
Sergeant Gemma Blackadder from the Road Policing Unit at Motherwell said: "Our thoughts are very much with Andrew’s family and friends at what is a very difficult time for them.
"Enquiries into the full circumstances of this crash continue. If you believe you have information that will assist our enquiries or if you have any dashcam footage, please contact 101 quoting incident number 3307 of May 30."
