A plush Glasgow hotel has undergone a massive refurbishment. 

Work has been done to transform Glasgow Marriott Hotel into a modern, stylish design-led destination with luxurious upgrades and new facilities. 

The award-winning city centre hotel now features a new Greatroom, consisting of the reception area, lobby, new lounge bar, the signature Cast Iron Grill restaurant and a socialising place.

All 303 guest rooms have been upgraded with an additional six spacious Junior Suites created, while the 75 Executive Rooms benefit from access to the Marriott Hotel’s Executive Lounge.

Rooms feature Marriott bedding, cosy armchairs, air-conditioning and 55-inch wall-mounted flat-screen TVs.

Ten meeting rooms are being revamped and are expected to be completed in December 2024.

Inside, the hotel's new decor is inspired by the local surroundings, with the lobby interior designed to emulate Glasgow's iconic bridges.

The reception desk features a striking ceramic plate mural inspired by the city’s ceramic industry while also paying homage to Glasgow landmarks such as the Finnieston Crane, SEC walkway, The Armadillo and the "squinty bridge".
