There are more police in an area of north Glasgow following an 'incident'.
999 crews were called to Arrochar Street in the city's Summerston at around 6.45am on Wednesday.
They were responding to a report of a robbery in the area.
A man was allegedly robbed and was found seriously injured.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated.
A 44-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the alleged incident and officers are continuing to investigate what happened.
Following this, the force has said there will be an increased police presence in the community and anyone who is concerned or has information can approach officers.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 06:44 hours to attend an incident on Arrochar Street, Glasgow.
"We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and one patient was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital."
