A teenager was rushed to hospital after a crash near a speed camera on a busy road.
A car was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Whifflet Street in Coatbridge.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 4 at around 5pm at the bus stop after the speed camera heading towards the A725.
Emergency services were called to the scene and a 17-year-old male was taken to hospital to be assessed for his injuries.
Officers are now trying to establish what happened and they are urging any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to tell the police.
Police Constable Emma Gibney said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch or anyone who may have dash cam footage capturing the incident.
