Glasgow Subway machines are 'unable' to accept new King Charles bank notes.
SPT has said the new £5, £10, £20 and £50 featuring the monarch will not work on the automated machines at the Subway stations.
The notes entered circulation on Wednesday, June 5.
If any customer wishes to pay for their ticket using a King Charles bank note, they must go to the ticket office and speak to a member of staff.
A statement shared by Glasgow Subway said: "Please be aware, our ticket vending machines are unable to accept new King Charles bank notes. If you wish to use them as payment, please use them at the ticket office."
