Cops launched a probe after a man was seriously assaulted in Blantyre.
Emergency services rushed to Logan Street in the South Lanarkshire town around 3am yesterday.
A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating.

Detective Constable Sharon McBride said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.
“We are also asking people to check private CCTV and dash-cams for footage that could assist with our investigation.”
