A Glasgow Rangers pub has paid tribute after the death of a 'legendary' loyal customer.
The team at the Bristol Bar on Duke Street informed their followers that they had lost a 'much-loved member of the Bristol family' last week, Ronnie Wylie.
In a sad message, staff shared a heartfelt tribute to a Bristol Bar 'legend' ahead of his funeral in Australia this week.
A spokesperson said: "It’s with great sadness that today we send our love and thoughts to Australia as a member of the Wylie family, a Bristol bar legend and Harry Wylie’s brother Ronnie Wylie makes his final journey.
"Ronnie Wylie, a man born and bred in Glasgow who later moved to Australia. He was a much-loved member of the Bristol Bar family who always brought happiness to the bar every time he was back in Scotland.
"Ronnie passed away peacefully last week and will be laid to rest later today (tomorrow for us) in Brisbane, Australia.
"He will be sadly missed by all at the Bristol bar, gone but not forgotten.
"Our thoughts are with all Ronnie’s family over in Australia and also in Scotland at this sad time.
"Rest Easy Ronnie. Simply The Best!"
More tributes soon flocked in from those who knew Ronnie, with one punter saying: "Ronnie was a fantastic man who I had the pleasure of meeting him and his family in Australia, New Zealand and also in South Africa. Sleep well my friend."
Another said: "So very sorry condolences to you all family and friends, another bear gone too soon."
A third added: "Rest easy Ronnie it was a pleasure knowing you['re] out of pain now, God bless pal."
