A residential road in Rutherglen is closed due to a burst water main.
Emergency services and Scottish Water crews are on the scene on Blairbeth Road in the town.
The burst main is affecting water supply to customers in the area, Scottish Water confirmed.
A spokesperson said: "We have identified the cause of the interruption to water supply affecting customers in Rutherglen and are currently arranging the repair to return supplies to normal."
It is unclear when the issue is expected to be resolved.
Diversions are in place while the main is repaired and people are asked to avoid the area.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Blairbeth Road in Rutherglen is closed due to a burst water main. Emergency services and Scottish Water are in attendance and local diversions will be put in place. Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area."
