A busy road in Rutherglen is to remain closed after a water main has burst.
We reported how emergency services and Scottish Water crews rushed to Blairbeth Road in the town earlier this morning after being made aware of the issue.
Now, the water firm has said teams are currently on-site working to isolate the burst on the 24-inch water main and make arrangements for the repair of it.

As a result of the burst main, Scottish Water has said there has been some localised flooding in the area.
They have said they are currently working with customers in the area who have been impacted by the issue.
On top of that, the company has revealed a road closure will be in place on Blairbeth Road near the junction with Crawfurd Road to allow repair works.
The closure will remain in place until the work has been completed and a full reinstatement of the area is carried out.
A spokesperson said: "Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks local residents and businesses for their patience and understanding."
