An 'avoid the area' warning has been issued after police have closed a busy road near Glasgow amid an ongoing incident.
The force says Balmore Road is currently shut between Allandertoll Roundabout and Balmuildy Road in East Dunbartonshire.
Balmore Road connects the North of Glasgow to Milngavie.
Officers say the road has been closed following a three-vehicle smash.
The incident happened shortly after 3pm on Wednesday, June 12.
999 crews remain at the scene, meanwhile, motorists are being urged to 'avoid the area' and use alternative routes.
It is unknown if anyone has been injured during the crash.
