Here are all the banned items from the Foo Fighters gig in Glasgow tonight - including laser pens.

The legendary American rock band are set to perform at Hampden Park in the city's Southside on Monday, June 17.

The group - who were formed in 1994 in Seattle - are known for their hits including Everlong, The Pretender, Learn to Fly, Best of You, My Hero, All My Life, Times Like These, and many more.

The band is made up of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and Josh Freese.

The concert will kick off at the football stadium at 5pm, however, the Foo Fighters won't take the stage until 8pm.

 

 

Here are all the banned items and prohibited actions for the event, according to Hampden Park's website: 

  • No weapons 
  • No drugs/psychoactive substances
  • No inflatables or balloons 
  • No flares, fireworks, or smoke emitting devices 
  • No underage drinking 
  • No drones, professional cameras, or cameras with removable lens
  • No bags bigger than A3 size
  • No glass or reusable water bottles bigger than one litre
  • No folding or inflatable chairs 
  • No laser pens
  • No selfie sticks/umbrellas/or flag poles
  • No crowd surfing/circle pits
  • No food and drink
  • No throwing objects
  • No anti-social behaviour 
  • No disposable or single-use vapes
  • No aerosols over 250ml and no spray paint cans

It comes after we reported an urgent travel warning has been issued ahead of the iconic rock band's Glasgow gig.

Ahead of the big event, Traffic Scotland has advised gig-goers to 'plan ahead'.

The travel firm has said they expect traffic to be 'heavier than normal' on the M74, M77, M8 and M80 motorways.

Meanwhile, ScotRail issued a warning ahead of the concert as well last week.

The rail company is urging fans to allow extra time for travel as trains to and from the city centre are expected to be more popular than normal.

They are also advising concertgoers to plan their journeys and buy their train tickets in advance.

On top of that, ScotRail has said extra services will be added to and from Glasgow Central for the gig.
