Cops are hunting for a driver after a Renault Clio was left badly damaged on a busy Glasgow road.
Officers say they were called to a one-car smash on Edinburgh Road in the East End shortly after 7.30pm on Sunday, June 16.
999 crews raced to the scene, however, on arrival they said the motorist had left the scene.
Following the incident, a hunt has been launched to track down the driver.
In pictures shared with the Glasgow Times, part of the road could be seen being blocked off by police vans as well as being taped off.
Meanwhile, a blue motor was pictured severely damaged on the road.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We received a report of a one-car crash on Edinburgh Road in Glasgow around 7.40pm on Sunday, June 16, 2024.
“The driver of the car left the scene prior to police arrival and enquiries are ongoing to trace them.”
