A Glasgow swimming pool is 'on track' to reopen soon after a huge project.
Glasgow Club Gorbals regularly welcomes around 1500 visitors every week and has become a 'well-used' local pool since it opened in 2000.
We previously reported that Glasgow Life revealed plans for a refurbishment of the pool filtration system as part of essential maintenance of the pool.
The pool closed on April 8 with expectations to open in 'early summer'.
Now the organisation has confirmed they will open on July 1 as planned.
A spokesperson said: "We're on track to open our pool on the 1st of July as planned. The essential work is progressing smoothly, and we're now finalising all our plans."
Updates will be posted on Glasgow Life's website.

Glasgow Life has said they are currently taking steps to resolve the problem.
It is unknown when the pool will reopen in the centre.
