999 crews rushed to an incident on Glasgow's M8 motorway last night.
Police say the road's eastbound carriageway was forced to close just before Junction 26 (Hillington Interchange) following a collision.
The force says the crash involved a van and two cars.
It took place shortly after 7pm (Wednesday, June 19).
Currently, it is unclear if anyone was injured during the incident.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
The M8 eastbound is closed prior to junction 26 with traffic passing on the hard shoulder following a crash involving a van and two cars around 7.25pm.

Lane three westbound is also closed with traffic able to pass in lanes one and two.
