A woman was rushed to hospital following an alleged incident, for which she was later arrested.
The 22-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after an apparent one-vehicle crash occurred on Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge around 2.05am on Friday.
The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene.
It later re-opened around 4.40am.

Police have now confirmed that the woman was later arrested in connection with alleged road traffic offences and that an investigation has since been launched.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.05am on Friday, June 21, 2024 we were called to a report of a one car crash on Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge.
“Emergency services attended and a 22-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed while emergency services were in attendance and re-opened about 4.40am.
“The 22 year-old woman was later arrested in connection with road traffic offences.
“Enquiries are ongoing .”
