A popular music duo are coming to Glasgow on a new summer tour.

Folk musicians Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham are masters of their craft having entertained audiences across the world for over 30 years and recorded four studio albums together.

The pair are heading back on the road and will visit the city's Oran Mor on September 6 and 7, 2024.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest accordion players of the times, Phil Cunningham was awarded an MBE in 2002 for services to Scottish music.

Aly has received many accolades for his contributions to music, including four doctorates and an MBE. He began playing the fiddle at the age of eleven and has had an illustrious career working with the likes of Hue and Cry, Eddie Reader, Fish and Richard Thomson.

The duo have worked together since 1988 and recorded music through Aly's own label Whittle Records.
