Police were called to an incident near the OVO Hydro in Glasgow after The Killers concert.

A police presence was seen outside the gig venue on Tuesday evening where the Mr Brightside hitmakers were performing.

The force confirmed that they had been made aware of a report of a man being injured.

He was taken to hospital where he is being treated for an injury to his head.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.25pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, officers were called to a report of a man found injured after falling in the Congress Road area of Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is receiving treatment for a head injury.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 10.31pm on June 25, 2024 to attend an incident on Congress Road, Glasgow.

"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
