"But we will find a date in the future !!! I love y'all and can’t wait to see you."

We previously told of fans' sadness that the event was cancelled.

One person said: "Guys what the f**k, Megan has cancelled her Hydro date?"

A third wrote: "You cancelled my Glasgow show? Are you crazy?"

A spokesperson from the SEC said: “Megan Thee Stallion was scheduled to perform her Hot Girl Summer Tour on July 4.

"This date could indeed have gone ahead however the artist needed to move the original date and the venue was unavailable on the dates requested for reschedule.
