American rapper Megan Thee Stallion has made a statement to Glasgow fans after her Hydro show was cancelled with a week's notice.
The Savage singer was set to perform at the Finnieston venue on July 4 as part of her Hot Girl Summer tour.
But we reported on Wednesday that an email was sent to ticket-holders informing them the event had been cancelled, removed from the Hydro's website and that refunds would be issued.

Following the disappointing news, Megan informed fans that a 'complex construction project' at the venue was the reason for the cancellation and that she would 'be there soon'.
She said: "To my Glasgow Hotties I promise I’ll be there soon, the venue informed us of a complex construction project that will close the venue forcing us to cancel the show.
"But we will find a date in the future !!! I love y'all and can’t wait to see you."
We previously told of fans' sadness that the event was cancelled.
One person said: "Guys what the f**k, Megan has cancelled her Hydro date?"
Another added: "Why has the Glasgow show been cancelled for other US shows? Gutted."
A third wrote: "You cancelled my Glasgow show? Are you crazy?"
A spokesperson from the SEC said: “Megan Thee Stallion was scheduled to perform her Hot Girl Summer Tour on July 4.
"This date could indeed have gone ahead however the artist needed to move the original date and the venue was unavailable on the dates requested for reschedule.
"We hope to welcome Megan Thee Stallion back to the OVO Hydro soon.”
