This is the moment a Green Day fan's dream came true as the band invited him on stage in Glasgow.
Jake Rodger was among the crowds of thousands who flocked to Bellahouston Park on Tuesday night to see the band's Saviors Tour.
The guitarist, who plays in a band called Conflict Hope, held up a sign informing the band he could play their hit Dilemma on guitar.
In true Billie Joe fashion, the frontman of the iconic group told Jake to 'get his a** up here' and gave him the guitar to perform Dilemma to the crowd and have his moment in the spotlight.
Green Day shared the incredible moment on their TikTok and Instagram pages.
Jake, from Anstruther, spoke about the experience to STV News.
He said: "Green Day have been my life since I was seven years old and it’s always been a dream if I ever got called up on stage.
“I brought the sign, made it my room, and brought it along – my bandmate put me on his shoulders.
“Billy noticed it and I couldn’t believe it he even saw it then invited me up on stage.
“It was just the best moment. My dream literally came true."
