A fundraiser has been launched after a horror flat fire in Uddingston.
We reported how emergency crews raced to reports of a tenement building fire on Deanbrae Street in the South Lanarkshire town.
999 teams were alerted to the incident shortly after 9am on Wednesday, June 26.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said they were called to reports of a dwelling fire which was affecting the second floor of a two-storey tenement building.
During the situation, 22 residents had been evacuated from the building.
Now, following it, a fundraiser has been set up to support the families affected by the fire.

According to it, the blaze has left people 'without a place to live' or 'without their belongings'.
It is aiming to raise £5,000 which will go towards temporary housing, basic necessities, and replacing essential items for those affected.

Following the fire, four people were taken to hospital for treatment, the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) said.
Luckily, firefighters managed to tackle the blaze at the property.
During it, pictures shared with the Glasgow Times showed clouds of dark smoke pouring out of the property.

Meanwhile, the police have since revealed the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
They have also said the roads in the area - which were closed during the fire - have reopened.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Residents and motorists are advised that Deanbrae Street in Uddingston has fully reopened, following a report of a fire at a property around 9.15am on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
"Enquiries were carried out and there were no suspicious circumstances."
