A Glasgow retail park's proposal for an "iconic roof" was granted.
A planning application submitted by the Forge Retail Park to create a new entrance feature was this week approved by Glasgow City Council.
The East End site will place the structure on top of the building's roof.
Proposals state the appliance will be made of a steel beam skeleton structure and an aluminium panel will be mounted on it.
Plans show an artist's impression of what the sculpture will look like.
