An amusement park in North Lanarkshire is hosting free daily dinosaur shows to entertain children this summer.
Running until August 11, M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park promises a 'roaring time' with life-like dinosaurs including a star Velociraptor and its baby cubs.
The How to Train Your Velociraptor show will take place every day at 12.30pm, 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm, offering special appearances throughout the day.
The theme park, located next to Strathclyde Country Park, has also teamed up with First Bus to provide a bus service from Buchanan Bus Station to facilitate visitors' travel.
Running until August 13, the rates for the X7 Express Bus Service are £8.00 for an adult and £6.00 for a child, and includes a £4 discount on a theme park wristband or a game of golf at Devil’s Island Adventure Golf.

Jensen Taylor Connelly said: “Visitors will be amazed by how real the dinosaurs look.
“The Velociraptor is so striking, children and adults will be captivated by them.
“We appreciate how challenging it can be keeping children entertained over the summer and these free shows are a great opportunity to plan a fun day out for all the family.”
In addition to the dinosaur shows, special features include Amazonia, an indoor tropical rainforest with exotic animals and plants, Devil’s Island Adventure Golf, Cosmic Bowl, a ten-pin bowling alley, and Krazy Congo Soft Play.
The park also houses Monterey Jack's, an award-winning American-themed diner among other food outlets.
Entry to the theme park and car parking is free.
