A MOTORCYCLIST has been left "seriously injured" following a crash on the M8.
The incident happened at around 8.55pm on Sunday, June 30 at the on-slip road at Junction 25 at Braehead.
The crash involved a red and white Yamaha R6 motorcycle which struck a barrier.
A 42-year-old man, who was riding the motorcycle, was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the motorcycle befreo the crash to come forward.
Sergeant Chris Hoggans, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: "Our enquiries into this crash are ongoing and we would urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or who believes they saw the motorcycle on the road prior to the collision to get in touch.
"We believe the rider has travelled along Kings Inch Road and Old Govan Road prior to the incident at the on-slip for the M8.
"We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 3408 of June 30."
