A stage version of Rebus is set to come to Glasgow this September following a successful BBC TV series run.
The stage production of Ian Rankin's Rebus: A Game Called Malice will see Gray O’Brien reprising the title role.
Directing the show is Loveday Ingram, along with Abigail Thaw and Billy Hartman accompanying O'Brien in the cast.
The show will run at the Pavilion Theatre from September 23 to 27 with more information available at https://tinyurl.com/38u9ppp7.
The play begins with a dinner party at an Edinburgh mansion where guests are involved in a murder mystery game created by the hostess.
Among them is Inspector John Rebus whose interest in true crime takes an unexpected twist as the game unfolds.
O’Brien, best known for his roles in Coronation Street, Peak Practice, and Casualty, has a theatrical history that includes diverse roles in Educating Rita, The Case of the Frightened Lady, and The Sound of Music.
Hartman, known for his television roles in Emmerdale, Keeping Faith, and A Touch of Frost, returns to the role of Jack Fleming which he first played on stage in 2023.
Thaw, best known for her role in Endeavour, brings Stephanie Jeffries to life on stage.
Her other performances include Anthropology and Julius Caesar.
