Martin Compston was spotted at an award-winning chippy loved by Glaswegians.
The Line of Duty star visited the iconic Fish Works in Largs, regularly visited by those heading from the city to the seaside in summer.
Staff said they were 'delighted' to serve the 40-year-old - who is from Greenock - and his family.
They wrote: "The Fish Works Team were delighted to have a visit from Martin Compston at the weekend, it was a pleasure to serve you and your family.
"Lovely to meet you all, not just an amazing actor but passionate Scotsman too!!"
We previously reported that the chippy won the quality accreditation award and finished 3rd as best takeaway in the National Fish & Chips Awards in 2023.
The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) president Andrew Cook said: "We were blown away by the standard of entries this year, all of which have shown an incredible dedication to serving the nation’s favourite dish, in what has been a tumultuous year for the sector."
