UPDATE: The Albert Bridge has now reopened.
A Glasgow bridge has been locked down due to an ongoing incident.
Police are currently on the scene of an incident at Albert Bridge on Crown Street in the city.
An image shown to the Glasgow Times shows the bridge taped off and officers standing guard.
Glasgow City Council's roads department issued a bulletin informing of the closure.
They are advising all drivers to use another route.
It reads: "Due to an ongoing Police incident, The Albert Bridge (Crown Street) is currently closed to all traffic between Clyde Street and Ballater Street.
"Emergency Services are in attendance.
"Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route."
The incident is understood to be relating to a concern for a person.
