DRIVERS in Dumbarton are being warned of a road closure set to take place later this year.
Bank Street in Alexandria will be shut for up to five days at the end of September to allow for Network Rail inspections.
West Dunbartonshire Council confirmed the closure, which will begin on Spetember 26, on their website.
However, they do note that it is anticipated the closure will only be in place from 10pm on September 26 until 6am on September 27.
The disruption will be in place from the junction with Steven Street to it’s junction with Ferry Loan, for a distance of 190 metres or thereby.
Only emergency service vehicles, those permitted by signs and those engaged in authorised road works.
Access to all property and for pedestrian through traffic will be maintained
