A tennis club in Milngavie is hoping East Dunbartonshire Council will give it the go-ahead to replace its clubhouse with a new building.
An application for planning permission has been submitted to the council on behalf of Bardowie Tennis Club, located in Station Road.
The club, which plays outdoor tennis and has two hard courts intends to construct a new clubhouse on its existing premises.
Tennis continues to grow in popularity in Scotland at both junior and adult levels, with reports of all time highs in club memberships and increasing demand to participate in competitions.
For more information on the club’s proposals, or to leave a comment to be considered as part of the determination of this application, visit East Dunbartonshire Council’s website and search for planning reference TP/ED/24/0397.
