An urgent warning has been issued ahead of TRNSMT in Glasgow this weekend as thousands are expected to flock to the festival.

The music event will take place between Friday, July 12 and Sunday, July 14 at Glasgow Green in the city.

Musicians set to perform include Gerry Cinnamon, Calvin Harris, Liam Gallagher, and many more.

However, ahead of it, Traffic Scotland has said traffic will likely 'be heavier' on the M8 and M74 motorways over the weekend.

Due to this, concertgoers are being urged to 'plan ahead' to 'avoid disappointment'.
