A man was allegedly caught with a blade on a busy street in Wishaw.
Police say they observed a man 'acting suspiciously' on Main Street in the town on Wednesday, July 10.
Following that, officers engaged with him.
He was then searched and was allegedly found to be in possession of a knife.
The force says the 35-year-old was then arrested and charged.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged after being found in possession of a knife on Main Street, Wishaw on Wednesday, July 10.
"Officers observed the male acting suspiciously and engaged with him before he was subject to a search and found to be in possession of a knife."
