Trains are set to be replaced by buses on a busy Glasgow line this weekend.

ScotRail says services running from Mount Florida in the Southside to Newton Station in South Lanarkshire will be replaced by buses on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.

Taking to social media to announce the news, the rail firm says it is due to engineering works.

They have also said buses will replace services between Kilmarnock and Dumfries as well.
