A Scottish rock band will be 'busking' on a bus around Glasgow this weekend.

Glasgow's Brit-award-winning group Travis have announced they will be touring the city on a double-decker bus on Saturday, July 13.

It comes as the musical group has just launched their 10th album - L.A. Times.

As part of the bus tour, the group says they will be 'busking' and has encouraged fans to head along.

They will be on the bus from 11am until 3pm, it is understood.

On top of that, the bus will also be heading around the city on Friday, July 12 and Sunday, July 14 as well, however, the band won't be onboard.

The group - which was formed in 1990 in the city - is known for its tunes including Sing, Side, Flowers In The Window, Closer, and many more.

It is made up of Fran Healy, Dougie Payne, Andy Dunlop, and Neil Primrose.

Announcing the news, the group said: "Here are the bus routes for our Travis double-decker bus this weekend!

"We will be on board the bus on Saturday, driving around Glasgow and busking around the city centre! Make sure to come and say hey somewhere along the way."
